Ancient myth, refined embroideries, performative art and fashion merge together in the site specific event /gal-le-rì-a/, on the occasion of Sylvio Giardina's SS23 haute couture collection show. Curated by Alessio de’Navasques, /gal-le-rì-a/ winds through the sumptuous halls of Palazzo Farnese, the Roman seat of the French Embassy

A superfluous game, perhaps. But human beings live on the superfluous. As Professor Keating said in Dead Poets Society, "poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for."

From the austerity of Prada, to the absence of all ornamentation at Gucci, to a return to the essence for JW Anderson, Men's Fashion Week F/W 2023 appears to be an extreme attempt to flatten tastes and desires in the name of sellable innovations that all turn towards sobriety, minimalism, and clean design

As always, Club to Club is a good time to take live stock of the best of new global pop music-or "avant-pop." So let's take a look at the promoters and failures, at least among those I was able to listen to: the festival is long, comes with overlap, and sometimes all it takes is waiting in line for an overpriced drink to miss an act
