TOMORROW ON THE OCCASION OF THE MOON LANDING 50TH ANNIVERSARY SOTHEBY’S WILL LAUNCH AN AUCTION COMPLETELY DEDICATED TO SPACE EXPLORATION
A half century has passed from that incredible day that added a great chapter to the Human History’s book. The JFK’s dream of the USA conquer of the moon – announced to the country during a public speech at the Rice University in 1962 – became true three years before the deadline suggested by the very American President.
Despite the several detractors that still believe the entire Apollo 11 mission is a sham, an Hollywood mise-en-scene, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins remains true heroes of our times.
