In the heart of the bustling 2025/26 Milan Fashion Week, Montblanc crafted an unforgettable moment that seamlessly merged elegance, artistry, and storytelling. At the historic Salone dei Tessuti, the brand unveiled its latest collection, centered on the symbolic role of travel—both in its literal and metaphorical sense—and the power of self-expression through the art of writing.

The event went beyond a mere showcase; it was an invitation to delve into the essence of “The Journey.” This concept transcends physical movement, embodying personal growth, self-discovery, and the timeless bond between creativity and the written word.
As guests entered the venue, they were welcomed by a harmonious fusion of tradition and modernity, a reflection of Montblanc’s dedication to craftsmanship and innovation.

At the heart of the presentation was The Tree of Writing, an evocative paper installation created in collaboration with Edinas Paper, a long-time Montblanc partner. Made entirely from paper, the tree featured leaves crafted from book pages, each inscribed with an inspiring quotation chosen by Montblanc’s Artistic Director, Marco Tomasetta. Its flourishing branches symbolized how writing transcends time and space, connecting people, preserving memories, and inspiring generations—echoing Montblanc’s own legacy of drawing from its heritage to shape contemporary designs.

Another masterpiece commanded attention: the majestic Tree of Life by Maestro Andrea Roggi, created specifically for Montblanc. This emotionally resonant artwork unfolded across two complementary installations.

In the courtyard of the Palazzo dei Tessuti, Roggi’s iconic tree was reimagined with stylized pages replacing traditional olive leaves. These pages, depicted with dynamic elegance, appeared to dance in the wind, embodying the interplay between nature and culture. The white marble base elevated the sculpture, lending it a striking presence in the open space.

Far more than a decorative piece, this sculpture serves as a bridge between tradition and innovation, intellect and emotion. It pays tribute to art and literature—timeless forces that unite and inspire across generations. It invites reflection on the enduring beauty of human creativity and its transformative power in shaping a brighter, more compassionate future. Roggi’s Tree of Life celebrates the boundless capacity of the human spirit to grow, create, and transform—a lasting homage to knowledge and the freedom it brings.
