Palace and C.P. Company unite again, merging archival innovation with skate-inspired aesthetics
words MATTIA MARCASSA BARBIERI
C.P. Company and Palace are back, continuing their creative synergy with a collaboration that redefines Italian sportswear through the lens of skate culture. This partnership takes an iconic wardrobe—rooted in C.P. Company’s rich heritage—and reinterprets it with Palace’s irreverent, street-savvy approach.
At the heart of this collection is the seamless fusion of vintage and contemporary influences. Palace has meticulously explored the C.P. Company archive, extracting the essence of its most emblematic pieces, such as the Goggle Jacket, and infusing them with a graphic sensibility that pays homage to skateboarding’s dynamic visual language. The result? A bold, co-branded lineup under the banner of C.P. PALACE, where function meets subculture in a way that feels both organic and boundary-pushing.

A Collection Bridging Past and Present
The capsule collection showcases a carefully curated selection of garments that blend utility with style. The standout Goggle Jacket is reimagined with an external CS II hood, exuding a sense of urban resilience. Accompanying it are 5-pocket trousers crafted from 14 3/4oz denim, a full-zip overshirt in robust 50 Fili Heavy fabric, two striking graphic t-shirts, a lightweight knit from Sea Island cotton, and a series of essential accessories. Each piece is marked by the distinctive C.P. PALACE branding, a testament to the synthesis of both labels’ design philosophies.
A Mediterranean Playground
To launch the collection, C.P. Company and Palace unveil a short film directed by Michael J Foxe and Stuart Hammond, capturing the essence of the collaboration in a sun-soaked Sicilian setting. The film follows Palace skaters Lucien Clarke, Danny Brady, Juan Saavedra, and Alexandrino Da Silva as they traverse the island’s vibrant streets, merging their fearless energy with the timeless beauty of the Mediterranean backdrop. This choice of location continues the duo’s tradition of selecting iconic Italian landscapes for their collaborative campaigns, weaving the spirit of place into the very fabric of the collection.
Where to Find It
The C.P. PALACE collection drops on March 28th at noon CET and will be available at C.P. Company flagship stores in Milan, Paris, Seoul, Tokyo, and Shanghai, as well as online at cpcompany.com. Palace flagship stores in London, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Seoul will also stock the collection, along with palaceskateboards.com. As an added highlight, an exclusive C.P. PALACE pop-up will take place at Dover Street Market Paris from March 28th to 30th, offering a unique retail experience.
This collaboration not only celebrates the meeting of two distinct design languages but also highlights how heritage and subculture can collide to create something entirely new. Whether you’re a longtime C.P. Company devotee or a Palace loyalist, this collection promises a fresh perspective on what Italian sportswear can be in a modern, skate-driven world.
