A well known face is back for the new Burberry TB Monogram campaign

 

“I was so happy to see Riccardo again after such a long time and shooting with my sweet friends Luigi and Iango is always a blast. It was so special spending time with everyone, we had so much fun on set”. With these words Gisele Bündchen returns in front of a camera, on the occasion of the launch of the new TB Summer Monogram, created by Riccardo Tisci for Burberry. Iconic, immortal, the Brazilian supermodel sums up the fusion of past and present that characterises the Thomas Burberry Monogram collection. In fact, just as the TB collection celebrates the brand’s heritage in an innovative way, Bündchen represents the past coming back to life in a new guise. The shots by the photographic duo Luigi and Iango depict her posing in front of unpublished photographs from ten years ago. An encounter between a face destined to remain in the visual history of our century and a brand able to rewrite its own codes each time.

Launched in August 2018, the Thomas Burberry monogram was designed by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci and British art director and graphic designer Peter Saville. In its short life, Burberry’s TB line has seen illustrious testimonials, such as Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner. In 2021, it was Naomi Campbell who posed for the TB Monogram collection, starting a glorious journey into the 1990s. This year, that journey goes on through the magnetic and fascinating face of Gisele Bündchen.
