Cortina d’Ampezzo is ready to dazzle again with the 14th edition of Cortina Fashion Weekend, from December 6th to 8th, 2024. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Dolomites, this year’s theme, HEIGHT COUTURE, promises a spectacular blend of tradition and innovation, celebrating the evolution of fashion through time.
Organized by Cortina For Us in collaboration with the Comune di Cortina d’Ampezzo, this highly anticipated event transforms the town into an immersive fashion and cultural experience. From exclusive boutique events and captivating installations to live performances and après-ski glamour, the weekend offers something for everyone while spotlighting this Alpine gem’s unique heritage and cutting-edge creativity.
A Spotlight on Highlights
- “Montagna e Memorie Marine” Installation: This central piece, designed by Kopio and curated by Achille Mauri and Genera, blends Cortina’s cultural heritage with modern aesthetics. Showcased in Piazza Angelo Dibona, it features ten curated fashion displays housed in hourglass-inspired cases, juxtaposing traditional Ladin garments with contemporary pieces from brands like K-Way, Pollini, and Harmont & Blaine.
- Rosadira Festival Talk: On December 6th, industry leaders like stylist Silvia Ortombina and music journalist Damir Ivic discuss the timeless synergy between fashion and music.
- Live Sound Performance: December 7th will see a mesmerizing sonic show that merges ancestral and contemporary elements, featuring conch shell sounds, electronic music, and evocative storytelling.
