Irish designer and fashion world’s darling JW Anderson, that presented yesterday his men SS 2018 collection in Florence Pitti’s special guest, seems to have abandoned avangarde for clothes that people will actually wear. From silver heart printed trench coat to oversized khaki pants, from jacquard sweaters to glittery high top Converse (a new collaboration) every piece is a new, and definitely original, take on classics, or what used to be called “casual”. The designer declared that the inspiration for the show was his own wardrobe, clothes that he has worn for years. And to confirm this he said ,“I think this is the first season I’ve tried everything on myself. It was like going back into yourself.”
