MARIO VALENTINO

For its Spring Summer 2020 Collection Mario Valentino’s heritage meets moderns trends. Catching from its historical archive, in fact, the Neapolitan maison returns to its roots keeping an eye focused on contemporaneity.

The shoes collection embodies and pays homage to the iconic 70s MV logo, the sharp angled hearth created by the very designer Mario Valentino playing with his initials. Little multicolored sticks (the classic seen-not-seen-logo) become indeed the protagonist details of some collection’s pieces, such as the up trend cowboy boots available in pastel color as well as in a neon animalier version.

The timeless classic shoes, like the high heels of squared toe, the flat sandal and the trendy sabot, are reinterpreted in a very modern way, up to time, for a woman who’s not afraid to be elegant and daring at the same time. The essential and clean shapes are in clear contrast with all the materials, like laminate, mirrored fabric and brushed calfskin leather.

The clothes collection – perfectly matched with the shoes – reflects Mario Valentino’s DNA. The innovation of this season collection lies in the foil processing technique that provides a kind of “glove” sensation on the wearer skin, making every woman unique.

VALEXTRA

Inside the rigorous space of Milanese flagship store, Valextra presented its latest Spring Summer 2020 Collection designed by Michael Anastassiades.

Getting inspired by his ancient origins, the Cypriot designer turned a simple and a bit anonymous object, the flute, into the main character of the entire collection. “Flute” Collection – whose key words are force, functionality and beauty as well – in fact reinterprets the very shape of the musical instrumental throughout limited edition bags, elegant jewels and a bespoke lamp, truly debut into design world.

The legendary geometrical 60s “Series S” bag’s shape enriches with a bronze “flute” detail on the handle hiding all the other superficial elements, first of all the seams. Available in small and medium sizes the color palette includes sober and bourgeoisie shades of black and white, mint green, ice, dust pink and classical red.

Finally bond by an endless love for minimalism and pure lines Anastassiades and Valextra debut together in jewels world presenting a collection made of six essential pieces made in gold 24 Ct. and designed starting from an Ancient Cypriot object from 1100/1600 B.C.

FURLA

Surely there isn’t better location than the wonderful Palazzo Isimbardi to present the new Spring Summer 2020 collection. Furla celebrates its new rounded and soft logo – that directly refers to the famous Bolognese portico’s arches – showing the next summer pieces of delicate colors matched with Tiepolo’s frescos and Hayez’s picture.

Apricot and peach orange hand bags, together with the classical ones in black and white shades, act as main character of a mise-en-scene that sees also models and performers standing and dancing inside the building’s rooms.

Furla seems to tell a truly pinky #Illusions fairy tale where magic and suggestive elements cannot be missing: magnolia patterned shoulder bags of Japanese allure grow up from a velvet grass in the mirror room while “Furla Piper” bags and iconic “Furla 1927” bags – that are part of the see-now-buy-now collection – fluctuate in the air along the vinile chain corridor.

To end Furla family this season welcomes a new member: the “Furla Pillow” bag, a more capacious crossbody enriched with lateral accordions.

HOGAN

For this Spring Summer 2020 Hogan bets on outdoor world. Both the women and men Collection shows an adventurous attitude mixed up with the traditional soul. Urban streets become savage paths to rigorously step on with the new “interaction” sneaker for her – of essential design enriched by fringes details – and the “Urban Trek” for him.

The color palette reclaim forests’ shades: moss green, bark red, blue sky, stone white and carbon black alternate with transparent detail.

To end maxi hand bags complete the entire look devoted to comfort without loosing charm and elegance.
