The Attico’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, aptly named “On the Go” is a cinematic journey through dualities, channeling the brand’s signature harmony of opposites. Inspired by the idea of a woman in motion—moving seamlessly from day to night, street to soirée, with an effortless sense of style—the collection is a masterclass in pairing soft seduction with masculine grit.
Designed before their September show as a precursor to a broader narrative, this collection delves into The Attico’s recurring theme of contrast, embodying “unbridled seduction” with sheer fabrics, delicate lace, and flowing feathers, juxtaposed against “masculine assertiveness” through structured outerwear, broad-shouldered blazers, and oversized bombers.
The Attico woman here swings effortlessly between these extremes, embodying both strength and sensuality as she navigates a self-made world. With draped camisoles, feathered slip dresses, transparent skirts, and intricate embroidered bras, the collection’s softer pieces recall the roaring glamour of the 1920s but reinterpreted for the contemporary, fast-paced woman. Feather detailing and delicate lace add a lingerie-like intimacy, while the movement inherent in draping lends each piece a fluid, almost ethereal quality.
On the other side of this sartorial spectrum, assertive outerwear and precise tailoring deliver a harder edge. Broad-shouldered blazers, long structured coats, and slender pants elongate the silhouette, exuding a commanding presence that’s quintessentially The Attico. Mongolian lamb jackets, faux fur blousons, and knitted robes bring a textural richness to the collection, inviting touch and adding an unexpected depth to the looks.
In color, The Attico plays with the cityscape—pure blacks, soft naturals, and industrial greys form a moody base, offset by metallic silvers and subtle pops of turquoise, red, and purple. These tones capture the balance between femininity and ruggedness, creating an aura that’s simultaneously timeless and thoroughly modern.
Accessories in this collection continue the theme of movement and contrast. Feathered pumps, pointy flats, and commanding boots add an elegant toughness, while sandals with geometric heels offer a playful edge. La Passeggiata, The Attico’s latest soft handbag design, emerges as the perfect companion for women on the go, seamlessly merging functionality with chic style. Droopy scarves and headpieces complete the look, adding flair and further dimension to this urban vision.
More than a collection, “On the Go” reads as a love letter to multiplicity and self-authorship. The Attico’s SS25 collection embodies a woman unafraid to embrace her soft and hard sides—moving with conviction through life’s myriad scenarios, ever her own muse.
