A Celebration of Timeless Craftsmanship and Contemporary Elegance in the Heart of Italian Fashion

Milan’s bustling Corso Garibaldi is now the chosen stage for Filippo De Laurentiis, a renowned brand of outstanding quality, mastery of noble fibers, and creative flair. The new venue, located at Via Marsala 13, will be named Spazio Effimero—a title that emphasizes the timeless elegance of Filippo De Laurentiis knitwear, standing in contrast to the transient nature of modern society.

Thus, a dichotomy dissolves through the concrete awareness of the complementarity between the here-and-now of the in-store experience and the context of refined, traditional craftsmanship, combined with the product’s quality. It is a philosophy of two opposing but interdependent principles, which together create the harmony of the universe—a concept dear to Filippo Ferrante, who has always chosen to infuse his creations with deep thought, making them the voice of a new “Knitwear State of Mind.”

Spazio Effimero, covering 100 square meters, will focus on showcasing the men’s and women’s collections, fostering free experimentation that explores construction techniques through original and functional combinations. Over the next six months, the FW 24 collection “Repère” will precede the SS 25 collection “Aqua Virgo,” guiding us on an experiential journey filled with vibrant and emotional tactile and visual sensations.

The brand “Filippo De Laurentiis” was established in 2013 through the entrepreneurial vision of Filippo Ferrante De Laurentiis, resulting from a long artisanal tradition that has seen the Ferrante family engaged in the creation of men’s knitwear since the 1970s.

This Made in Italy project thrives on noble raw materials such as cashmere, fine wools, yak, alpaca, silk, linen, and cotton sourced from Italian spinning mills, favoring those that are GOTS or RWS certified as a testament to a shared commitment to quality and sustainability.

In 2022, the first women’s collection debuted. In 2023, the company introduced the label Filippo De Laurentiis Φ, a creative workshop highlighting the diverse sensibilities that inspire Filippo Ferrante: art, design, music, and fashion.
