The Magical World of Marni’s Spring/Summer Collection

Marni’s Spring/Summer 2025 VOL.2 collection, designed by Francesco Risso, invites an experience that transcends the traditional fashion show, transforming the space into a magical and enchanted environment. Beauty, symbolized by a “white rabbit,” becomes a metaphor for the search for the sublime, a journey that is not so much a destination as a continuous exploration.
In this context, design acts as a channel for the electricity of enchantment, taking the audience into a realm of wonder. The collection is characterized by radical essentiality, with materials such as cotton, leather, and suede that serve as canvases to express the motifs of beauty. Risso reduces the concept to symbols and gestures, proposing garments that organically merge with the identity of those who wear them.
The soundtrack, composed and performed by Dev Hynes and other artists, is inspired by Julius Eastman, creating an intimate and immersive atmosphere. The models, choreographed by Sharleen Chidiac, move freely, evoking the sensation of a walk in an enchanted forest, making the experience even more poetic. In this “dream laboratory“, the collection becomes a celebration of Marni’s romanticism, an invitation to pursue beauty in all its forms, in a game of discovery and wonder that transcends time and convention. Beauty, in this sense, is a gesture, an expression of creativity that invites us to explore our individuality.
