With the city abuzz from this world-class sailing event, Maui Jim’s arrival offers not just a functional luxury but a unique experience for both sailing enthusiasts and fashion-forward individuals alike. It will be a 40 square meter space created in collaboration with Optica Universitaria, dedicated to the sunglasses of the new “Ekahi” collection and all the iconic models of the brand. The pop-up will remain open for the entire duration of the famous competition. It will be situated next to stores of other worldwide companies along the main pier of Barcelona’s iconic Marina Port Vell. Maui Jim, who has always been involved in outdoor activities and sports, has determined that the superyacht marina would be the ideal location for its store. The brand’s Hawaiian essence permeates the area because of interior design elements that evoke the vibe of Maui’s beaches: surfboard-inspired wooden shelves, subtle color palettes reminiscent of Hawaiian sunsets, and floor coverings made of coconut fiber. Guests will be able to discover the sunglasses collections and the innovative PolarizedPlus2 technology. The polarized lenses, equipped with hydrophobic and oleophobic treatments, guarantee clear and glare-free vision in all weather conditions. The collection stands out for its vibrant colors and iconic details, which offer a perfect balance between functionality and style, on land and at sea.
In an event that celebrates both human ingenuity and a love for the sea, Maui Jim’s presence in Barcelona during the 37th America’s Cup is a stylish testament to the brand’s deep connection with the world of sailing
