This designer, well-known for his Savile Row headquarters, has ventured into new horizons within the realm of interior design during London Design Week, one of the industry’s most prestigious events.
Boateng’s decision to embark on this new venture was driven by a deep aspiration to apply his expertise in men’s fashion to the realm of interior furnishings. Poltrona Frau, renowned for its Italian craftsmanship and high-quality artisanship, proved to be the perfect choice for this collaboration, sharing a unified vision with the designer.
The outcome of this synergy is an extraordinary collection that encompasses various elements, including seating, lifestyle accessories, fabrics, and wallpapers, all inspired by the concept of “Culture & Craft.” The collection showcases two iconic pieces from the Poltrona Frau brand, the Chester sofa and armchair, alongside the Vanity Fair armchair. Furthermore, the Beautilities category has been enriched with new accessories, all characterized by Boateng’s distinctive tribal motif.

A notable example is the reinterpretation of the renowned Chester line in three distinct variations: Classic Chester, Chester Line, and Chester One, each featuring a fresh interpretation of his distinctive tribal motif. The hot embossing technique on Pelle Frau Nubuck, used to apply the motif, has been refined and perfected by a team of designers and specialists.
