The Chanel show at the Grand Palais in Paris

Karl Lagerfeld’s setting for the Chanel Fall/Winter 2018-2019 show was woodland-inspired. The Maison’s creative director is focusing on nature, on its humid and secret side, covered in leaves and hidden behind shadows. Last year’s show was quite different as it was surrounded by fresh waterfalls, whereas the Cruise collection was dedicated to the eternal beauties of ancient Greece.
The show took place at the Grand Palais in Paris and was more crowded with celebrities than ever: the event was attended by musicians like Carla Bruni, Sébastien Tellier, James Righton, redhead Romy Madley Croft, Eddy De Pretto, Amandine de la Richardière, but also and above all by celebrities. In addition to Chanel Ambassadors, Keira Knigtley, Vanessa Paradis, Alma Jodorowsly, Caroline De Maigret and Soo Joo Park were spotted at the show. The names include many international models, actresses, actors and figures not just from the Western scene: Lili Allen, Stella Tennant, Géraldine Chaplin, Hanna Quinlivan, Lolita Chammah..
