Barbour celebrates 40th anniversary of iconic Beaufort jacket
To celebrate this milestone, Barbour has produced a limited edition 40th anniversary Beaufort. Also made in South Shields with all the features of the original jacket, it features a label on the back of the collar marking the 40th anniversary and studs engraved Beaufort 40.
To celebrate the durability and longevity of this jacket, 40 Barbour Re-Loved Beaufort jackets will be created where no two jackets will look the same, thus becoming one-of-a-kind and truly special.
A recycling project that aims to create 100% sustainable garments using as raw material jackets that cannot be restored due to excessive wear and tear.
The Beaufort 40th anniversary campaign is part of a broader Evergreen Icons campaign that celebrates the enduring and durable style of Barbour’s classic waxed garments, which through the “Wax for Life” initiative allows garments to extend their life through re-waxing and repair.
