Virgil Abloh, OFF_WHITE multi-talented designers had teamed up with conceptual artist Jenny Holzer in order to give a political and intellectual meaning to his SS 2018 fashion show. On Palazzo Pitti’s façade Jenny Holzer projected poetry from Anna Swirzczynska  written during the Warsaw Uprising and words from Syrian refugees authors like Osama Aloma and Omid Shams. There was a strong link with the luxe streetwear collection rich of details inspired by marine rescuers. And Abloh is expecting raise awareness in his followers: “I’m a millennial brand. Kids will go and research the messaging they see on Instagram. Are we talking about garments, or are we talking about the world at large?”
