THE KOREAN LUXURY EYEWEAR BRAND GENTLE MONSTER JOINS THE AMERICAN ARTIST DANIEL ARSHAM FOR A CAPSULE COLLECTION EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE AT SELFRIDGES
On 21st October Selfridges Corner Shop turned into “The House by Daniel Arsham”, the latest project by the American artist Daniel Arsham.
Part of his “Future Fantasy” campaign, this truly house diorama – that will be shown into the famous Londoner department store until January – is composed by a front yard, a kitchen, a living, an office and closet spaces. Inside it customers will found not only Arsham artworks – such as an eroded operational Porsche 911, a custom adapted Pierre Jeanneret armchair or crystalized basketball hoop – but also a selection of exclusive brand collaborations, limited edition products and specially developed merchandise.
Amongst the several brand partners (Dior Homme, New Era, Mont Blanc and SMEG just to name a few) the Korean brand specialized in luxury eyewear Gentle Monster sticks out.
In particular, the capsule collection born by this artistic bond includes two different eyeglasses frames declined in the beloved color of the very Arsham Studios (white, powder blue and studio green) as well as an original packaging thought to be used also as a mini cool bag.
